Job Description:
Job Description BCBA. Naturalistic, Relationship-Driven Practice
(San Diego & Temecula) This is not a traditional, clinic-only ABA
role. We’re recruiting BCBAs for a small, family-run provider in
San Diego and Temecula that works with clients from early childhood
through adolescents and adults. The work is naturalistic,
developmentally informed, and grounded in real-world application
rather than rigid protocols. The clinical approach blends ABA with
developmental and relationship-based models, including the Early
Start Denver Model, and close collaboration with RDI consultants.
Sessions often take place in everyday environments. Community
settings, functional life skills, and meaningful family involvement
are central to the work. If you enjoy learning, adapting how you
practise, and expanding your clinical toolkit, this role is
designed to support that. What makes this role different
Naturalistic, play-based and relationship-driven approach Work
across ages, from young children through to adults Real-world
application over clinic-only delivery Collaboration with RDI
consultants and multidisciplinary clinicians Small, supportive team
with hands-on leadership Focus on quality of care over volume Role
details Caseload capped at 10 clients 26 to 28 billable hours per
week Hybrid role with limited in-home supervision required Tight
geographic radius to reduce travel and burnout Ability to split
roles between assessments and treatment, if preferred Must already
be credentialed with insurers Compensation and benefits Salary up
to $100,000, depending on experience Part-time options available at
higher hourly rates Health and wellness stipend Paid CEUs and
CalABA requirements Trauma-informed care training, CPI training,
and ongoing professional development Wellness offerings including
yoga, meditation, sound baths, and Reiki Regular leadership support
through weekly and bi-weekly meetings This role is not suited to
clinicians looking for highly standardised, centre-based ABA only.
It is well suited to BCBAs who are curious, flexible, and
interested in practising in a more naturalistic, developmental way.
If that sounds aligned with how you want to work, apply or reach
out to start a conversation.
