inclusion journey!General PurposeThe Sr. IT Applications Analyst is
responsible for coordinating and managing IT activities related to
New Store Openings, Store Remodels, Store Relocations and Store
Closing (GOB) projects. This role coordinates planning and
installation activities with multiple IT teams, business partners,
equipment and installation vendors, and field leadership teams.
This role will also participate in the ongoing management of all
service, equipment and installation vendors and onboarding of new
vendors. The Sr. IT Application Analyst is responsible for driving
results through strong communication, planning, organization,
prioritization, analysis and judgment, cross-functional
collaboration and vendor management.Essential Functions
- Support and execute end-to-end New Store Opening Process,
Remodel projects and Store closing (GOB) projects.
- Responsible for coordinating with multiple vendors, IT teams,
cross-functional business partners to ensure the timely and
accurate installation of all IT Equipment and Network/Telephony
services.
- Acts as a main point of contact for all IT equipment and
service installations related to the New Store Opening, Store
Remodel, Store Relocation and Store Closing (GOB) activities.
- Day-to-day management of multiple equipment, software and
service vendors
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to ensure timely and
successful issue resolution.
- Ability to lead development of materials and deliver / present
to senior leadership.
- Build cross-functional partnerships with other groups to foster
team building across units
- Ensure that all required system and user documentation is
created accurately, installations are completed on time and under
budget and anticipated business benefits are achieved.
- Manage meetings, issue resolution, escalation, etc. for the
teams during the complete lifecycle of all assigned projects.
- Drive the planning and execution of deployment plans with all
stakeholders
- Support existing production systems, coordinate related support
and enhancement activities. Define and prioritize problems and
requests. Ensure proper testing and business change management
practices and procedures are followed. Ensure all support

- 5 years' experience supporting retail systems or IT consulting
experience supporting retail. Solid understanding of retail
dynamics within a complex, highly integrated environment.
- Experience working for a national retailer with multiple stores
or consulting firm.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting hardware and packaged
software solutions.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in
information systems, computer science, or a related technical
discipline.
- Technical orientation balanced by project management
discipline. Able to supervise and collaborate with internal
programmers, analysts, consultants, non-technical business
resources and external vendor resources.
- Demonstrated track record managing technical application
projects.
