JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

The Senior Sales Ops Data Analyst is responsible for sales data enrichment, analysis, reporting and handling the deduplication data application, and optimizing sales efficiency by refining processes and crafting systematic improvements. The Senior Analyst ensures that we have clear operational processes in place and monitors adherence to them including the maintenance of operational reporting and dashboards within Salesforce and Tableau. This individual must work well with cross-functional teams to identify variance to plan with the goal of improving the quality and integrity of the data, and is required to prepare business requirements, workflow diagrams and detailed step-by-step operating procedure documents for automation changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide reporting coupled with suggested actions to leaders whose teams provide master data inputs to reduce data quality issues, non-value record maintenance, and process deviation.
  • Understand end to end business processes, flow of data within and between processes and recommend process improvements for better territory planning and forecasting process.
  • Develops technical and functional specifications based on business requirements and
  • analysis of relevant workflows.
  • Identify and lead data cleanup projects to improve data accuracy
  • Oversee ongoing data hygiene efforts and appends of prospect records
  • Identifies issues in data quality that would impact lead assignment and reporting (i.e. duplicate records, missing data, etc.)
  • Develop and implement a periodic review, including robust reporting, of all master data to ensure data is current and accurate across business functions, conforms to business rules, and meets data quality standards
  • Responsible for investigating industry information for accurate sales territory assignment
  • Address questions from the Sales Teams related to data management and rules of engagement
  • Act as a specialist for any reporting needs, build data quality dashboards and reports to track and ensure data accuracy
  • Assist in the research for data mining, analytic and data quality assurance tools
  • Responsible for resolving critical issues that require in-depth research
  • Perform data analysis in Salesforce using CRMFusion Demand Tool and other data deduplication applications in production and sandbox environment
  • Work closely with sales strategy and leadership to define and understand the company's Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and analyze downstream impact to existing operations
  • Work with cross-functional team to clarify business process and data needs on process-related IT projects, as well as supporting and executing end-to-end UAT
  • Respond to ad hoc data analysis requests and provide technical assistance
  • Follows all data methodologies, rules of engagement and data protocols
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

  • N/A

Experience:

  • 5-7 years demonstrated ability in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support role.
  • 5-7 years experience with Salesforce.com
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Tableau
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Previous experience working with PRM applications
  • Data cleanup skills required
  • Experience with deduping application tools
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
