What a Sr. Specialist contributes to Cardinal HealthA Sr. Specialist is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, and branding for our private label portfolio and digital initiatives.Responsible for leading efforts focused on increasing the value of Cardinal Health's private label portfolio and eCommerce initiatives. This includes defining and implementing marketing activities that fall in line with the overall private label and eCommerce marketing strategy, executing the first six months of marketing efforts for new and transitioning products, and managing the strategy and execution of marketing programs.AccountabilitiesThis role is responsible for managing the strategy and execution of private label marketing efforts and digital initiatives. This role will collaborate and partner with brand managers, category managers and product managers on defining marketing plans and will have direct responsibility for implementing integrated marketing plans and programs that drive sales and increases awareness.Specific accountabilities include:Manage multiple marketing programs and solutions including driving awareness, engagement, and enrollmentsDevelop and execute on digital marketing initiatives including content development for digital advertisements, emails and landing pages related to consumer health initiativesBuild and execute marketing launch plans for LEADER product launches including new products, line extensions and item transitionsEnsure and maintain consistent brand guidelines, messaging and imaging across all channelsMonitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and program performanceDrive sales and strategy through the development, implementation and follow through of marketing programsQualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing or advertising, or equivalent work experience, preferred.3+ years' experience in related field, preferred.Digital marketing or eCommerce experience highly desiredProficient with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, TEAMsExperience using digital analytics software and digital/social media platformsWhat is expected of you and others at this level?Counsels and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives and plans that meet both company and business objectivesExecutes, manages, and analyzes integrated marketing campaigns with a focus on digital marketingPrioritizes tasks and projects according to business needs and tight deadlinesDemonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environmentEffectively works both independently and as part of a team.
