Job Description:
At Walmart Inc., a leader in global retail, we are looking to
expand our technological horizons with a Principal Software
Engineer specialized in Mobile and Augmented Reality (AR)
technologies. This role is crucial as we innovate to enhance
shopping experiences for millions of customers worldwide. As a
Principal Software Engineer in our IT & Data Management team, you
will lead the development and implementation of groundbreaking
mobile and AR applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable,
and seamlessly integrated into our vast retail systems. Design,
develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Mobile and AR
platform in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Provide
technical leadership in mobile architecture and AR integration,
driving best practices and innovative strategies. Collaborate
closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers
to deliver sophisticated solutions aimed at enhancing user
engagement. Ensure robustness, security, and application
scalability while managing the entire software development
lifecycle including testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Research and implement new technologies and frameworks that push
the boundaries of mobile retail solutions. Mentor junior engineers,
providing guidance and support through code reviews and design
sessions. Expertise in mobile development languages (Swift, Kotlin,
etc.) and frameworks (iOS, Android SDKs). Strong experience with AR
development tools (ARKit, ARCore, Unity 3D). Proficient in
cross-platform development tools and frameworks. Solid
understanding of modern mobile UI/UX trends. Skillful in
integrating complex web services and APIs. Robust problem-solving
skills with a creative approach. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
