part of our innovative team. Ridgeline’s Data Delivery Squad is
seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the architecture
and advance the capabilities of our data streaming platform. In
this hands-on, high-impact role, you will design and implement core
messaging systems, stream processing pipelines, and developer
tooling that support our analytics infrastructure, workflow
automation, and operational insights. You’ll leverage technologies
like Kafka, Flink, and Kotlin, as well as AI tools like Copilot,
Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Junie, Glean, ChatGPT, and more to
amplify engineering velocity and innovation across Ridgeline. At

love to meet you. The impact you will make: • Design and implement
highly scalable, reliable, and elastic data pipelines and messaging
infrastructure • Build and evolve the event-driven architecture
supporting both batch and real-time data processing • Develop and
maintain platform SDKs, libraries, and onboarding flows that
enhance developer experience and platform leverage • Ensure
observability and cost transparency through lineage tracking,
lag/error monitoring, and team-level cost dashboards • Collaborate
across squads to integrate data delivery solutions with 40 teams
including Accounting, Reporting, Workflows, and AI agents •
Contribute to architectural design efforts for materialization
layers including effective dating, replay support, and real-time
analytics • Advocate for platform reliability with measurable goals
for uptime, recovery, and alert responsiveness • Mentor peers,
share knowledge openly, and contribute to a culture of growth and
continuous innovation What we look for: • 7 years of experience in
software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems or data
engineering • Strong proficiency in Python, Kotlin, or Java • Deep
experience with messaging platforms like Kafka, stream processing
(e.g., Flink, Spark), and event-driven architectures • Knowledge of
cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), containers, and
orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes • Experience
building developer-facing tools, SDKs, or platform APIs •
Familiarity with observability stacks and cost/performance
optimization techniques • A strong sense of ownership and ability
to lead cross-functional initiatives • Passion for building clean,
reusable systems that reduce cognitive load for others Bonus : •
Experience with CDC tools such as Debezium, Kafka Connect, or
schema registry • Contributions to auto-scaling infrastructure or
platform elasticity frameworks • Experience with real-time
analytics, materialized views, or time-series architectures •
Familiarity with financial services or regulatory data systems
