The Software Engineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce application. You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You enjoy helping the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.
You will have the opportunity to work on a complex ecosystem in the cloud with a focus on scale and availability. You will be responsible for developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, and building scalable, highly available systems. You will also have experience with public cloud and be curious and able to learn new technologies and toolsets.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.Responsibility

• Write high quality code in C# .Net and other object-oriented languages that is easy to maintain and test
• Maintain and develop automated tests for your code
• Be data focused, everything we do is measured and used to ensure 5-9's availability and that we are solving the right problems
• Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices,automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, version control systems (GIT)
• Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
• Diagnose and resolve production impacting issues and maintain the code as neededJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work.   • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years industry experience in Software Engineering
  • Experience with C#, Java, C++, or Go
  • Experience with public cloud (Azure or AWS) and Kubernetes
  • Experience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns
  • Experience with CosmosDB, SQL, CassandraPreferred
    • Experience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET, .NET core), JSON, NoSQL Databases
    • Experience with Documents and Document Conversion
    • Experience with telemetry software
    • Experience with Git, continuous integration, and deployment tools
    • Experience working in an agile development environment
    • Drive strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional area
    • Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and toolsetsWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $146,800.00 - $235,025.00 base salaryIllinois and Colorado: $139,800.00 - $197,400.00 base salaryWashington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $139,800.00 - $207,325.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:
      • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
      • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
