and to discuss any potential accommodations.JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEWThe
Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the general
administration and maintenance of the Risk Management Information
System (RMIS) within the Workers Compensation Department of
Insurance Services. This position will be highly collaborative with
the Risk Mitigation and WC Pricing Teams working to extract,
analyze and assess the business needs and workflows ensuring
maximum usage of the system. Expectations include improving and
developing dashboard reporting and presentations, creating
efficient workflow processes, and acting as the subject matter
expert for training users on the system. The Business Systems
Administrator will be responsible for SOX tasks and
responsibilities related to the system and be expected to fully
review enhancement opportunities in the RMIS, provide
recommendations to Senior Leadership and develop project plans from
implementation thru execution.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extract, analyze and assess business unit needs and workflows;
make consultative recommendations to Senior Leadership and
implement procedures and processes accordingly.
- Develops an intimate understanding of our business operations
and identifies both opportunities and the impacts of change being
introduced.
- Act as the single point of contact for platform architecture to
support the reporting and analysis needs of the business unit.
- Liaison with internal IT resources and vendor to ensure full
system functionality and optimization.
- Responsible for general administration and maintenance of
business systems; including user maintenance, modification of page
layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new
fields/objects and other routine tasks.
- Develop relevant tools and dashboards to effectively support
business decisions, including the creation of presentations to
Senior Leaders.
- Coordinate, validate, and troubleshoot data files and monitor
system performance
- Collaborate with user teams to assess opportunities, identify
efficiencies, and develop dashboards and custom templates.
- Prioritizing service projects adhering to allocated budget and
business needs
- Liaison with vendor to fully assess enhancement opportunities
utilizing the knowledge gained from the user teams.
- Responsible for related SOX tasks and controls
- Develop and deliver effective training tools for efficient and
accurate usage.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the
manager's discretion.JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar technical
field; or equivalent education and/or related work
experience.Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or
certificates):Experience:
- 5+ years of system administration, development, or business
analytics work experience
- Experience with Origami Risk Management Information Systems
strongly preferredOther Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strongly developed organizational and time management
skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements related to risk
mitigation/workers compensation
- Aptitude for technology, databases and business systems
- Self-starter, willing to identify problems and proactively work
to identify solutions
- Ability to work cross functionally with different departments
as well as with third party partners
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking
skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects successfully and meet
deadlinesWORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required,

- Minimal travel may be required
