Job Description:
Job Description CRC Technician II will perform database recovery
activities for customer-owned medical devices. Diagnose data base
errors, identify needed repair actions, attempt recovery/repair of
missing or corrupted data, and verify successful recovery. Identify
necessary database conversion and transfer requirements. Develop
and document database repair methodologies. Requirements /
Qualifications: Working knowledge of Relational Database Management
Systems (RDMS) such as MSSQL, MySQL, and Borland Interbase. Basic
knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) including SQL Queries,
SQL functions, and SQL Joins/Disjoins Proficient knowledge and
skill working with the data storage of relational data bases coded
in C#. Working knowledge of networking, remote access, and first
time NAS configurations. Proficiency using Windows applications.
Some Linux knowledge is desirable. Strong proficiency in Excel,
including experience with VLookup, VBA Macros, and creating Pivot
Tables. Working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems
(RDMS) such as MSSQL, MySQL, and Borland Interbase. Requirements:
AA or AS degree or equivalent education in appropriate field such
as Mechanical, Electronics, PC hardware repair, Optics, Networking,
Quality Control, is preferred. 3-4 years--- experience performing
alignment, calibration, repair and testing of moderately complex
electro-mechanical, mechanical, or optical assemblies and
subassemblies in a medical device repair center or field
environment. Intermediate knowledge of principles and theories of
electronics, electrical, electromechanical circuitry, optics,
computer systems, image processing, laser imaging. Good written and
verbal English communication, comprehension and mathematics skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to resolve issues and
adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency at intermediate skill
level with computer navigation, file manipulation and common office
computer software. Experience in handling medical devices or
handling product and packaging material. High level of manual
dexterity. Competent ability in use of manual and power tools
including Allen keys, torque drivers, screw drivers, and other
miscellaneous hand tools including drill, saw, and belt sander.
Working knowledge of and competent skill with soldering tools and
techniques. Working knowledge and safe use of test equipment such
as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, laser power meters, power
supplies, light meter, electrical safety equipment. Must have the
ability to work independently as well as effectively in a
cross-functional team environment with minimal instruction and
direction. Special Demands: Must be flexible to work weekends,
off-shifts, and overtime when needed. While performing the duties
of this job, the employee will be exposed to some high voltage on
power supplies. The employee is required to wear personal
protective equipment (PPE) while working on high voltage,
soldering, handling chemicals, machinery, or when air cleaning
instruments. The employee should be able to work with chemicals,
adhesive and solvents. In addition, the employee is required to
push and/or pull 30 lbs. unaided and lift up to 80 lbs. with
assistance. This includes functions such as loading and unloading
wheeled heavy equipment from crates. The employee will sit, bend,
squat and stand while performing job duties. The employee is
required to wear an ESD gown and heel grounders while in the repair
center area. The employee is required to have good and or corrected
vision. Employees will be working on equipment that has been
returned from customer sites, and will need to have special
training in Bio-hazards. The repair center also handles lasers, and
all CRC staff must attend and pass a laser safety class. This role
may involve domestic and international travel for training purposes
