The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer (Level 4) to join the Secure Computing Solutions group located in Pleasanton, CA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. As a Senior Software Test Engineer in Boeing---s Secure Computing Solutions group, you will be part of the Pleasanton, California-based Integrated Product Team which develops leading edge Cyber Security processor solutions for commercial and aerospace applications. Position Responsibilities: Building and leading the software test team Developing and implementing test plans and schedules for all phases of software lifecycle Tracking software defects and validating resolution through the entire release cycle Reviewing software requirements, architecture specifications and software design documents Works under minimal direction This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start). Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree Good understanding of software test processes Proven experience leading Software test team Embedded software testing experience Experience developing and debugging software using C Experience with test automation Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with GUI testing DevSecOps experience Familiar with cryptographic concepts Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years' related work experience, Master7 years' related work experience) In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Travel: Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
