appropriate services that promote healing. Job Summary: We are
currently looking for a full-time Evening Manager at Santa Cruz
Residential Recovery, located in Santa Cruz. This position is
responsible for supporting services for a 24-bed, residential
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment program. The Evening Manager
will work with a team to support consistent, high quality, services
and lead oversight of the team. Applicants will be familiar with
utilizing crisis intervention, harm reduction, relapse prevention,
trauma informed care, and other evidence-based treatment practices
for adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Responsibilities Provide consistent, high quality, supervision for
program staff. Provide ongoing coaching and training of
documentation requirements in electronic health and email
communications to milieu staff. Ensures new staff receive
on-boarding and on-going trainings, in collaboration with the
Clinical Manager and Operations Manager. Ensures adequate staffing
and program coverage. Ensure the program provides a healing and
trauma-informed environment with intensive individual support,
crisis intervention, and groups for persons served. Provides
coaching to staff on how to engage with person served during
relapse, conflict and boundary violations. Comfortable navigating
crisis, psychosis and conducting risk assessments, Oversee direct
reports maintain AOD certification and required trainings. Review
staff working hours and time off requests Monitors evening shift
medication training and performance. Meets all productivity and
documentation reporting requirements. Utilize electronic health
record to bill care coordination and write notes in client chart.
Provides oversight of the overall facility, in collaboration with
the Operations Manager, to Ensure that any building needs are being
addressed. Collaboration and Communication: Communicates in a
clear, concise and compassionate manner with staff and client
Regularly attends all meetings including: Staff meeting, Manager’s
meeting, Sentinel Event, Grievance Meetings, and other scheduled
meetings as necessary. Communicate needed client and program
information in staff e-mails with trauma informed language.
Collaborate on intakes and discharges with Clinical Manager, Senior
Operations Manager, and Intake Manager. Help plan and coordinate
any special activities, events or holiday celebrations that may
occur. Compliance and Reporting : Reviews and Submits NOABD’s
within 24 hours, as required by County Guidelines Reviews and
Submits Sentinel Reports within 24 hours, as required by County
Guidelines Reports all deficiencies to Senior Manager of
Residential Programs immediately (Licensing/Safety/Injuries)
Responds to client grievances in a timely manner, in accordance
with Encompass policy Complies with regulatory requirements. CARF,
DHCS, HIPPA, and 42CFR Provide facility oversight including
ensuring 80% bed utilization and licensing requirements are being
met for Community Care Licensing, DCHS, the County of Santa Cruz,
and other regulatory agencies. Other : Completes other duties as
assigned to support the operations of the SCRR program Understand
that duties or requirements of the position may change due to
funding, management or licensing requirements Maintains a valid
California Driver’s License and agency insurable Driving Record
Maintains updated Addiction Specialist Certification, Relias
Trainings, and other required certifications per program
