Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Carmichael, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,412 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Carmichael, California, 95608! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with Neuro cases Description: Unit has 9 Main OR suites. Average number of cases per day is approximately 30. Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips. Charge Nurse responsibilities generally do not include taking patients but may provide break relief. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. Holiday rotations are in place with core staff. Scrub color is navy; undershirts must be navy, white, or black. Scrub jackets are optional, but must be navy. All other facilities may be floated if necessary. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare. Floor-specific orientation lasts 1-2 days with a preceptor. Common cases in the Main OR include Vascular, Neuro, Robotic, Ortho, Trauma, and general surgery. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during the assignment.
