Med/Surg Location: King City, CA Start Date: 01-12-2026 End Date:
04-13-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Night shift,
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC, 12-hour nights; specific days scheduled by
the facility (may include weekends) Hours per Week: 36 Candidate

Roles & Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care
for Med/Surg and skilled nursing patients on night shift Assess,
monitor and document patient status accurately using Cerner Deliver
age-appropriate care for non-critical pediatric patients when
assigned Administer medications, treatments and interventions per
provider orders and facility policy Collaborate with
interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
Float to Skilled Nursing department as needed and adapt to changing
census Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff during
handoffs and critical events Support unit rapid response efforts
when called — your actions matter Qualifications Active California
RN license (required) — no exceptions Cerner experience is a must —
you’ll be charting like a pro PALS required — competent in
non-critical pediatric care ACLS required — comfortable managing
adult advanced cardiac life support Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing
experience preferred Ability to float between departments and adapt
to changing patient acuity Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and
responding to unit needs Education Graduate of an accredited
nursing program (ADN or BSN) or equivalent — clinical preparation
required Ongoing professional development and current
certifications as required Knowledge & Skills Proficiency with
Cerner electronic health record Strong assessment and clinical
decision-making skills in Med/Surg and skilled nursing Pediatric
non-critical care knowledge and PALS application ACLS algorithms
and emergency response competence Medication administration,
documentation, and safe patient handling Effective communication
