Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Burn
Intensive Care Unit Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience, Minimum 1 year
Critical Care experience License: Active Registered Nurse License
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, CCRN, ABLS, CBRN (preferred)
Must-Have: Prior travel experience within the last 12 months, BSN
required, Teaching Hospital experience preferred Description: The
position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in Burn Intensive
Care. Candidates must have a valid Registered Nurse license and
appropriate certifications. A minimum of two years of RN experience
is required, with at least one year in Critical Care. Experience in
a Burn Unit and Pediatrics is preferred. Responsibilities include
the management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction and
failure, and care for ventilated patients. Nurses will perform
phlebotomy and infection prevention measures. The unit supports
various patient age groups and has a daily census of approximately
ten patients. Staffing levels will allow for optimal patient care,
adhering to established patient ratios. Floating to other
departments may be required as needed. Compliance with vaccination
requirements is mandatory. Candidates must provide proof of COVID
vaccination and booster, with no exceptions. This role supports
interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory
services, and pharmacy. Successful candidates will exhibit
