Assesses the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Collaborates with various departments to coordinate patient care. Position Details: Facility: Southeast Region Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Multiple Shifts Available JoinOurTeam Incentives: $40/hour Variable Shift Incentive W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Shifts available in 4, 8, or 12-hour increments Variable Shift Incentives Work When and Where You Prefer! Position Overview: Are you looking for a flexible Registered Nurse position with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being adaptable to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG RNs: Behavioral Health Emergency Department Intensive Care Unit Medical-Surgical Women's Health (Labor & Delivery, Mother & Baby) Facilities/Locations: Facility A - St. Louis, MO Facility B - Festus, MO Facility C - South St. Louis County, MO Facility D - Washington, MO Facility E - Troy, MO Facility F - Perryville, MO Facility G - Cape Girardeau, MO Facility H - Dexter, MO Qualifications: Required Education: Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment and meet all state board of nursing requirements. Experience: At least one year of recent bedside RN experience for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience is required. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health - Basic Life Support (BLS) For Critical Care - BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Additional certifications may be required post-hire. Physical Requirements: This position involves regularly pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.
