Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health hospice position, requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and proficiency with HCHB EMR. \n \n Responsibilities\n This is a home health setting serving hospice patients Patient population is primarily geriatric Average daily caseload is 5-7 patients, to be confirmed during the interview Proficiency with HCHB EMR is required Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM On-call rotation required every 6th weekend Territory may extend up to a 60-mile radius from the office No local candidates accepted Primary responsibilities include providing physical therapy treatment and documentation for home health hospice patients Mileage reimbursement provided at the IRS standard rate iPad provided for work documentation; cell phone not provided Dress code is scrubs of any color; jeans are not permitted No call-ins are permitted First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment Candidates must be prepared to cover territory within a 60-mile radius of the office \n \n Requirements\n Current PT license in hand is required if applicable Minimum of 1 year recent home health or hospice physical therapy experience Current BLS certification required Proficiency with the HCHB EMR is required Oasis experience required for staff completing SOC Ability to provide timely documentation and communication Must be flexible with travel territory \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-632333.
