About the job:
Some key responsibilities you will own in this role include:

• Assisting veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments.
• Monitoring patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions.
• Providing compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners.
• Conducting diagnostic tests and preparing samples for analysis.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with protocols.Compensation:The best deserve to get paid as such. Let our generous differentials get you to where you want to be!
  • RVT compensation: $30 - $40/hr and a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus!
  • Senior Veterinary Assistant compensation: $26 - $34/hr and a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus!
  • Our location differential is 10% -of base pay
  • Our swing shift differentials are -$3/hour
  • Our overnight shift differentials are $5/hourWork Schedule:

      -Basic Required Qualifications:
      • High school diploma
      • 3+ years -of clinical experience -in the veterinary industry, RVT license preferred
      • Strong -interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
      • Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
      • Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role; (this requirement is waived if incumbent holds a valid CA-RVT license)Benefits:
