Description:Duties/Responsibilities:. Responsible for all administrative tasks for the assigned project(s) job setup, all logs, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, prime contract change orders, subcontract change orders. Manages the relationships between the client, architect, subcontractors, etc.. Manages overall billing processes and procurement of payment. Produce, direct, and monitor project schedule, submittal process, change orders, and budget. Direct and lead job site, project team, subcontractors, and crews. Work with and train PE's in the basics (RFI's, Submittals, SubContracts). Have a complete understanding of Lusardi subcontract. Review and edit owner contract (AIA docs)Required Skills/Abilities:. Demonstrate solid problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Advanced understanding of how things are built. Operate productively and efficiently with minimal supervision/input. Advanced ability to analyze and evaluate change orders. Basic understanding in how to maximize profits. Complete understanding of the cost report and how to back check your work. Developed overall business sense. Work cohesively with the entire team (supers, architect, subs, owners). Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate client/owner meetings, negotiations, etc.Education and Experience:. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar relevant field. Working knowledge of construction costs. Working knowledge of construction documents (plans, specifications, etc.). Knows and understands the various types of AIA prime contracts as well as the general conditions associated thereto. Working knowledge in the inner workings of construction project accounting and job cost reporting. Software experience in BlueBeam and construction management software. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Project and out OutlookSkills:Commercial construction, Change order, Project manager, Construction, Project management, Construction managementTop Skills Details:Commercial construction, Change order, Project managerAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Education and Experience: -Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred-5+ years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role-Can be a combination of training, education and relevant work experienceExperience Level:Intermediate Level
