Our mission remains the same as when we started in 1936, to provide products, services, education and expertise that will empower our members to rise up and achieve financial freedom.Overview: The Product Manager, Card Services will be responsible for growth, retention, and product development efforts for Patelco's credit & debit card program. The individual will provide strategic insight and executional skills that will be a key contribution to business growth and our position as a leader in card products. Responsibilities will include management of the product roadmap, develop and manage acquisition & portfolio programs, and use data/analytics to drive optimal decision making. This individual will engage with cross-functional teams and develop new product idea and features that help with our member financial health and well-being - as a result, managing member experience will be integral across different interaction points. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of operational success in the cards/lending space, and be fluent in the areas of product development, acquisition strategies, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration and communication. The successful candidate must be creative and a strategic thinker who is a team player and thrives in a fast-paced environment, and willing to roll up their sleeves to meet goals and objectives. Most importantly, this individual is self-motivated to drive projects/programs to fruition, and comfortable taking the lead without requiring direction.Responsibilities: * Develop, socialize, and execute a plan to accelerate growth of credit card balances and revenue in accordance with Patelco's three-year strategic plan targets. Plan should address target segments and tactics for new card member acquisition and existing card member utilization while operating within the credit risk guardrails established. * In partnership with cross functional teams, prioritize and deliver initiatives needed to achieve growth plan across the full value chain, inclusive of marketing (acquisition, portfolio/retention, and product positioning), distribution (physical and remote/digital channels), card member experience, card servicing. Leverage both quantitative as well as qualitative information as the basis for planning and analysis.* Manage and enhance existing credit card products in order to maximize consumer engagement with cardholders.* Monitor vendor performance and standards; conduct due diligence review. This position will require proactive management of numerous vendors across the various elements of the cards program.* Manage existing rewards & loyalty program, including reporting, analysis, and campaign planning.* Gathers and uses customer research and insights to enhance the credit card and service value proposition* Assist the VP, Cards with product and portfolio budget planning, forecast, and ownership of financial performance.* Work with technology team and other subject matter experts to get project requirements well scoped, designed and built for optimal member experience in an agile environment.* Reviews laws and regulations that impact compliance requirements, with emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC, Card Act and Durbin Amendment, Reg Z and Reg E knowledge is key.* Asses risk potential of current procedures and institute new internal controls that minimize the credit unions exposure.* Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, issues, and best practices.Qualifications: * A bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, or a related field.* 10 or more years progressively responsible work experience in the financial services industry, to include experience in ATM, credit, and debit card services.* A minimum of 5 years at the product management level in a financial industry.* Extensive knowledge of Credit, Debit, ATM cards (products and services).* Knowledge of MasterCard, Fidelity (FIS) and Co-Op or other card processing networks such as Fiserv/First Data and TSYS.* Possess excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal).* Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft suite.* Be able to effectively prioritize and multi-task projects.* Will be detail-oriented including ability to think strategically and execute methodically.* Ability to work with remote teams* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - ability to interact with colleagues at all levels* Strong emerging end-to-end generalist problem solving skills* Performing competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources* Ambitious, go-getter, and results oriented with willingness to roll up the sleeves and dive into data, processes, and analytics.We Offer: * Empowerment, Engagement, and Teamwork* An inspiring career that benefits both you and your community* Competitive compensation packages with bonus opportunity* Full Medical/Dental/Vision benefits with minimal eligibility waiting period* Generous 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor and 5% employer match* Discounts on loan products* Tuition Reimbursement* Onsite Fitness Center at HQ and rewards for healthy habits* Close proximity to BART, restaurants and shoppingPatelco Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteranIND123
