Job Description Job Description Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1 year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Sign Language Interpreter role supporting K-12 students in a school setting located in Gridley, CA. Multiple positions are available now through the end of the school year on a contract basis, offering approximately 30 hours of work per week. Key qualifications include: Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) Associates degree or equivalent Candidates with or without EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) or RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) eligibility will be considered Responsibilities involve providing clear and accurate interpretation services to students and staff, facilitating communication access during classroom instruction, and supporting a positive learning environment. Interpreters must possess strong ASL skills to effectively bridge communication between hearing and deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
