This person will work on large and small projects including: retail, restaurant, health clubs, office, medical, educational facilities, and more. Job Requirements · Bachelor's degree in construction management or construction related experience · 5 years experience estimating commercial projects ranging from $100K to $10M · Ability to establish and build customer relationships · Excellent communication and customer service skills · Strong ability to read & interpret blueprints and specifications · Experience with computer takeoff & estimating software such as PlanSwift, RedTeam, Pantera and Building Connected. · Working knowledge of Excel spread sheets, and Word processing programs · Ability to juggle multiple projects · Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment · Must be able to multi-task and be results driven Job Description · Order, download and organize, plans and specifications, for upcoming bids · Review and analyze plans and specifications to determine project requirements · Maintain, compile, organize and analyze project-related documentation · Oversee bid activities and review scope of work to get a clear understanding of the project · Attend and/or facilitate pre-bid walk throughs · Prepare in-house budgets and GMP proposals · Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing to material and labor · Write detailed proposals · Review completed bids and budgets with management · Participate in business development activities, presentations and interviews · Establish partnerships with owners, architects and subcontractors enabling collaboration for resolving questions during the bid process Company Description We are an employee owned and operated commercial and residential construction company with over 30 years of design build and project management experience in a multitude of market segments.
