College Branch Banking Internship is a paid, in?person opportunity
designed for Laney College and Peralta Community College District
students who want real?world experience in banking while completing
their studies. As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced
branch professionals, gain hands?on exposure to day?to?day banking
operations, and build foundational skills that prepare you for
future careers in financial services. This internship is more than
observation - you’ll actively support customers, learn how a bank
branch operates, and develop professional skills like
communication, teamwork, and workplace readiness. The program is
tied to your coursework at Laney College and is structured to help
you understand not just banking, but how to succeed in a
professional environment. As an intern, you'll: - get hands-on
experience solving business needs, - support communities where we

acumen - and more. Tellers are the faces of our company to many of
our customers and non-customers alike. Tellers help customers meet
their financial goals by handling routine financial transactions
(deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, merchant
transactions, etc.) and giving a warm welcome to everyone who comes
into the branch. Tellers inform customers of other products and

Pursuing an undergraduate degree - High School diploma or
equivalent - Currently enrolled in a Business Class - Current Laney
College or Peralta Community College District student - Must
maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA throughout the program - High school
diploma or equivalent - Minimum six months of experience in cash
handling and customer service - Physical requirements: May be
required to stand for extended periods of time and may be required
to lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 pounds Preferred
Skills/Experience - Effective interpersonal/customer service skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills - Basic reading, writing
and mathematical skills - Ability to communicate clearly and
effectively with customers and coworkers - Bilingual language

$20.00 - 23.53 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with
