Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert tax advisory services and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. This hybrid position offers flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on delivering quality results for our clients. Key Responsibilities - Lead tax compliance and reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients including individuals, corporations, and non-profits. - Provide strategic tax planning and guidance, particularly for high net worth individuals (HNWIs). - Oversee the preparation and review of various tax returns, including 1040, estate, trust, partnership, and corporate filings. - Conduct thorough tax research to identify opportunities for tax savings and ensure adherence to the latest tax laws. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tax-related initiatives and educate clients on tax implications of business decisions. - Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in tax matters. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a tax-related role. - Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, particularly for individual and corporate tax matters. - Experience with high net worth individuals, estate and trust taxation, and non-profit organizations is a plus. - Proficient in tax research and software tools for tax compliance and planning.
