than $9 billion in assets.Overview:The Director of Financial
Planning and Analysis is an integral part of the Finance Team. The
candidate will support strategic decision making and partner with
internal stakeholders to enhance their knowledge of financial
drivers as well as potential risks and opportunities. The Finance
Director will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting
process, financial management reporting and ad-hoc financial
analyses at the enterprise level.The candidate participates in high
visibility, strategic organizational projects. Supports the credit
union's vision and mission, and the department's focus on service,
quality, efficiency, and teamwork.Responsibilities:Build and mentor
a high performing team that delivers high quality, relevant, and
timely analyticsLead and continuously improve the budgeting and
forecasting processManage a team of 2-3 financial analystsLiaise
with Accounting to make sure management financial reporting is
aligned with GL hierarchies and GAAPEnsure that all processes are
documented, reviewed, and updated on an annual basisExtract and
analyze financial and operational data from multiple systems using
enterprise planning softwareCollaborate closely with business units
to develop and build analytical reports to provide actionable
dataAnalyze internal and external drivers of credit union
performance; make recommendations for processes based on in-depth
understanding of credit union goalsInspect performance to date and
assess potential risks and opportunitiesParticipate in department
and/or organizational projects as assignedReadily accept new
opportunities and take appropriate actions to ensure the work is
doneEnergize team members to achieve timely results; set
expectations and empower others to problem solveUse technology to
enhance the timeliness and quality of deliverablesDemonstrate good
judgment; facilitate successful and appropriate solutionsUnderstand
and support organizational metrics that are used to measure
successWork efficiently, with limited guidance, under tight
deadlines while producing quality outputApply knowledge and
experience to develop solutions in partnership with leaders of the
credit unionEffectively communicate internally and externally;
develop communications and presentations for senior management,
committees, and other financial
institutions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree is required. Graduate
Degree - MS or MBA or CPA is preferredExcellent writing and
presentation skillsExcellent Management skills with the ability to
develop team members and build relationships across the
organization5+ years of experience as a Finance Manager with at
least 5 years of FP&A working with enterprise level planning
softwareProficient in understanding the budgeting and forecasting
process with in-depth knowledge of deposit and lending
productsSuperior Excel and PowerPoint skills working with large
volumes of data, with the ability to validate and synthesize data
in a clear, presentable mannerOffice environment. Must be able to
work at a computer for extended periods of timePosition is located
in Patelco's Dublin, CA headquartersTarget Base Pay:$146513 -
$183142 / yearCompensation at Patelco:Please note that the salary
