Founded in 1936 with $500 in assets by employees of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, Patelco is in the top one percent of U.S. credit unions with more than $9 billion in assets.Overview:The Retail Branch Analyst supports the Retail Branch Network as the subject matter expert in the analysis and reporting of Retail Branch, Investments & Mortgage performance, including (but not limited to) financial performance against annual budgets and workforce analysis (e.g., staffing/gaps). Additionally, the role enables the successful implementation of enterprise and retail initiatives/projects. This role partners closely with other delivery team leaders and collaborates with stakeholders across the credit union to fulfill Patelco's objectives towards ensuring the financial health and well-being of our membership.Responsibilities:Act as the subject matter expert for all data related to the Retail Branches, collect, track, analyze, and report performance data and information (both regularly scheduled and ad hoc) including creating, publishing, and maintaining dashboardsPartner with other business leaders to implement specific initiatives, projects, etc. that impact the Retail Branches and other delivery teams.Create reporting structures through the utilization of Tableau and other reporting systems to communicate performance results. Analyze data, identify trends, and pinpoint performance anomalies to inform business decisions and enable growthCreate and maintain regular retail, investment & mortgage performance reporting to be shared with the CEO and the boardLiaise between the Directors, Advisors, Loan Officers, and departments on all projects relating to the delivery teams, quickly developing performance metrics based on evolving needs and tracking productivity at all levels of the retail organizationAnalyze Member Experience trends to identify recurring themes to improve performanceUtilize Patelco's financial software to monitor budgets for all retail channels. Assist with inputting budgets, completing variance comments, and analyzing historical spending trendsPartner across the enterprise to develop and monitor creative solutions for branch staff to support our membership, including the Virtual Branch & MCC with calls and secured messaging. Collaborate with channel partners to ensure that cross-channel reporting is accurate and timelyManage key retail vendors: monitor performance, service levels and escalate issues as necessary.Collect, analyze, integrate, and deploy best practices across the branch network to support enable and empower branch and team member successEnsure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and proceduresQualifications:5+ years of financial institution experience, credit union experience preferred2+ years' experience with business intelligence software, including advanced usage of TableauKnowledge of SQL and understanding of or experience using relational database structuresAdvanced MS Excel functions including formulas, macros, and pivot tablesStrong experience with additional MS Office products, such as PowerPoint and OutlookThorough knowledge of retail banking and channel performance indicatorsSuccessful experience working independently, including the ability to quickly shift focus based on changing business needsAbility to work cross functionally across channels to determine collaborative solutions for the credit unionExcellent organizational, analytical and time management skills.Effective planning and organizing skills to deliver workload in a timely mannerBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceTarget Base Pay:$80,585 - $94,798Compensation at Patelco:Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
